A family tradition

Backstage is a family-owned winery in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, California.

Winemaker Angelo Pera founded Backstage in 2010. The winery is his spin on a family tradition that began more than a century ago, when his ancestors moved to California from Italy and launched a beverage company in San Francisco.

At Backstage, Angelo has lovingly recreated the sense of tranquility found in the winemaking estates of Tuscany — an homage to his roots. He runs the winery with his family.

Backstage wines are crafted with patience and made by hand every step of the way.
