1. Overview

We strive to provide outstanding service and deliver our wines safely and promptly. This Shipping & Returns policy applies to all wine orders placed through our website, by phone, or in person.

2. Shipping & Delivery

  • All wine shipments require an adult (21+) signature upon delivery; carriers will not leave a package unattended.

  • Carriers will attempt delivery three consecutive business days. If delivery is unsuccessful after three tries, the package will be returned to Backstage Winery.

  • Please provide a valid physical address where someone 21 or older can sign. P.O. boxes are not acceptable for wine delivery.

  • In the event of extreme heat or cold, we may place your order on weather hold to protect quality.

  • Once your order leaves our facility, the wine is the responsibility of the carrier.

3. Returned Shipments

  • If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts or failure to pick up from a hold location, we will notify you.

  • We do not issue refunds for returned wine orders.

  • We will reship your package once we receive it back, subject to your approval and payment of shipping costs.

4. Damaged or Defective Wine

  • If your wine arrives damaged, corked, or in any condition that suggests it was compromised in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos and details.

  • For verified damage or defects, we will replace the affected bottle(s) at no charge.

  • Wine returns or refunds for reasons other than damage or defect are not accepted.

5. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Orders may be modified or canceled only before shipment.

  • Once a tracking number has been issued, your order is considered final and cannot be canceled.

6. Fees & Customer Responsibility

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • Reshipping due to returned packages or address errors will incur new shipping fees.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate address information and being available to sign for delivery.

7. Legal & Compliance

  • Because of state and federal regulations regarding alcohol, wine shipments must comply with all laws governing interstate and intra-state wine delivery.

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are 21 years or older and that the person receiving delivery is also of legal age.

  • Title to the wine transfers to you when the carrier picks up the order from our facility.
